Britain will vote to stay in the EU, experts believe

3 Jun. — The British Political Studies Association (PSA) published the results of a massive expert survey on the outcome of the EU referendum in the UK. An overwhelming majority believes the status quo will remain.

Invitations to take part in a survey were sent out to 2,301 people, with 596 of them responded. Of all the respondents, 496 are academics while others are journalists, pollsters and other experts. The survey was conducted between 24 May and 2 June.

The results of the survey show that 87% think the Remain campaign will win. Only 5% foresee the victory of their rivals, 8% think both outcomes are equally possible.

The average vote share for each side will go like 55:45 in favour of Remain, experts believe. The turnout will reach 61%.
